This device is not just another stompbox; its a sonic sculptor, equipped with three distinct clipping modesLED, Silicon, and Germaniumthat allow for a versatile palette of distortion and compression. By harnessing the precision of the NE5534 op amp, The Jet delivers unparalleled clarity and dynamic response, elevating your guitar’s natural tone without sacrificing the ferocity you crave. True bypass and crafted with premium components, The Jet is your gateway to a timeless yet contemporary distortion experience.
The Jet is a Rodent/Feline-inspired distortion device that has three clipping modes for various levels of distortion and compression. Utilizing the NE5534 op amp instead of other legacy chips offers a level of added clarity and dynamics seldom found in similar distortions. The toggle switch has three modes: LED, Silicon, and Germanium
The Jet is a classic distortion that is a blend between traditional and modern where you have more clarity and isnt as dark as an average Rat. The dynamics of the guitar are able to be heard while still having the same amount of monstrous gain. The three-way toggle switch changes the clipping diodes and allows for changes in compression and volume that further shift what dynamics are focused on.
Instead of using an LM308, I opted for the NE5534, which is known for its high fidelity and wider bandwidth.
The Jet is true bypass, uses NOS precision resistors, Lumberg jacks, Gorva knobs, and a USA-made PCB
Use +9V center negative only!
