The APDS9960 is a feature-rich sensor module equipped with UV and IR blocking filters, four directional photodiodes, and an I2C interface for easy integration. It supports gesture, proximity, ambient light, and color detection with a range of 4 to 8 inches (1020 cm). For convenience, essential pins are broken out: VL, GND, VCC, SDA, SCL, and INT, making it ideal for advanced embedded projects.
