The AMS1117 3.3 is a low dropout three-terminal voltage regulator with 1A output current capability and output voltage of 3.3V. These devices have been optimized for low voltage where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical.

The AMS1117 3.3 voltage regulator is easy to use and offers thermal shut down and current limit functions, to assure the stability of chip and power system. It is capable of regulating a wide range of input voltage (4.0 to 12V) down to a fixed 3.3V output at up to 1A (Vin = 4.5V).
